The 12 Universal Laws teach us that everything is energy, and we are threads woven into the tapestry of creation. While the exact origins of these laws remain enigmatic, they draw inspiration from ancient wisdom, esoteric teachings, and various spiritual traditions across the globe.

One of these laws and the topic of this blog post is the Law of Vibration, a principle that unravels the secrets of our energetic existence.


The Law of Vibration: The Cosmic Pulse


This law is like the rhythmic heartbeat of the universe. It states that everything is in constant motion, each with its unique frequency and energy. Our perception of the world is shaped by our individual vibration, our personal resonance in the cosmic orchestra. As we fine-tune our energy, our perception of the world transforms, unveiling events and circumstances at our new level of consciousness.

This constant state of motion in the universe is called vibration, and these vibrations have a profound influence on the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of reality. 

All matter and energy are different forms of vibrations. This includes physical objects, thoughts, emotions, and even abstract concepts. Even though things may appear solid and separate, at their core, they are composed of energy and are in a state of constant motion and vibration.

Objects or energies that vibrate at similar frequencies are said to resonate with each other. For example, positive thoughts and emotions are believed to vibrate at a higher frequency, and by maintaining this higher vibrational state, one can attract positive experiences and people into their life.

This concept is closely tied to the law of attraction. By aligning your own vibrational frequency with the frequency of your desires or intentions, you become better emotionally and psychologically equipped to bring those desires into your life. In other words, your thoughts and emotions can influence the energetic vibrations around you and, in turn, affect your perception of reality.


Emotion:  The Key to the Law of Vibration


Emotions are associated with different frequencies or vibrations. Each emotion carries a unique energetic signature, and by understanding and working with these emotional vibrations, you influence your own well-being and improve the experience of your reality. 


Here are the vibrations associated with some common emotions:


Love and Joy


Love and joy are often considered to vibrate at the highest frequencies. They are associated with feelings of positivity, connection, and abundance. By cultivating love and joy in your life, you can raise your own vibrational frequency, which may lead to more positive experiences and attract like-minded individuals.




Gratitude is a high-frequency emotion as well. Being thankful for what you have, no matter how small, is believed to increase your vibrational frequency. Gratitude is a key practice in attracting more of the things you’re grateful for.


Peace and Calm


Emotions like peace and calm are a more serene and balanced vibrational state. Achieving inner peace and maintaining a state of calmness can help in reducing stress and anxiety.


Compassion and Empathy


These emotions are high-frequency as well. Practicing compassion and empathy can not only raise your own vibration but can also positively impact the people and environment around you.  This is not to be confused with pity, which is lower vibration.  Pity is a response to someone’s suffering that tends to come from a position of superiority or condescension. When you pity someone, you may feel sorry for them in a way that implies you see them as less fortunate or incapable of handling their own situation. 


Fear and Anger


Fear and anger are associated with lower vibrational frequencies. These emotions create disharmony and block positive energies. The idea is to release and transform these lower vibrations into higher ones through practices like meditation and mindfulness.


Sadness and Grief


Sadness and grief are also considered to be emotions with lower vibrations. While they are a natural part of the human experience, we need to find ways to work through and transform these emotions to higher states.


Shame and Guilt


Shame and guilt are associated with some of the lowest vibrational frequencies. Releasing and healing these emotions is seen as an important step in personal growth and well-being.


Emotional Realism


It is very important to be aware that life is full of ups and downs, and experiencing a range of emotions is a natural and healthy part of being human. It’s neither realistic nor sustainable to expect to be in a state of perpetual joy or high-vibration emotions. Emotions like sadness, anger, and fear serve important purposes, such as signaling that something might be wrong or in need of attention.


Rather than trying to avoid or suppress lower-vibration emotions, it’s beneficial to accept them as part of the human experience. Each emotion, whether high or low in vibration, provides valuable insights and can be a catalyst for personal growth and understanding.

Mindfulness practices help tremendously with non-judgmental awareness. This means observing and acknowledging your emotions without labeling them as good or bad. Instead of thinking, “I shouldn’t be feeling this way,” you recognize your emotions as they are and explore why you’re experiencing them.


Allowing yourself to experience lower-vibration emotions is a crucial step in processing and healing. When you acknowledge these feelings, you give yourself the opportunity to understand their roots and work through them. This process can lead to personal growth, increased resilience, and greater emotional balance.


Once you’ve acknowledged and understood your lower-vibration emotions, the goal is to move through them, not by suppressing them, but by consciously choosing to shift your emotional state. But again, be realistic, while it’s possible to have immediate emotional shifts, it’s important to remember that emotional shifts are gradual. Shifting emotions takes time and practice. This might involve practices like deep breathing, meditation, or engaging in activities that bring you joy and peace. By doing this, you can gradually raise your emotional vibration.


Throughout this process, it’s important to be compassionate with yourself. Self-criticism or self-judgment can perpetuate negative emotions. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you’d offer to a friend going through a difficult time.

Striving for emotional balance rather than constant high vibration can lead to greater resilience. It allows you to navigate life’s challenges with a more grounded and adaptable mindset.


This concept is in line with mindfulness and emotional intelligence practices, which encourage a deeper understanding of one’s emotions and a more balanced and compassionate approach to dealing with them. By allowing yourself to experience and learn from both high and low-vibration emotions, you can lead a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Bringing the Law of Vibration into your daily life is like learning to play the instrument of your emotions. Here are some tips:


Mindfulness Meditation:


One of the most effective ways to become more in tune with your emotions is through mindfulness meditation. This practice involves paying close attention to your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental way. It can help you become more aware of the sensations and thoughts associated with different emotions.




Keeping a daily journal can be a powerful tool for tracking your emotions. Write down how you feel throughout the day, what triggered those feelings, and any patterns or recurring emotions you notice. Over time, this can help you understand your emotional landscape better.     1. I agree. I also try to keep the focus away from manifesting desires. While there’s nothing wrong with that, I think it is frequently misused and can be damaging. It’s far more important to self aware in my opinion. Thanks for the comment!
